Your very own personal assistant - We support because we care. Meal Time - We endeavour to encourage a healthy balanced diet. We promote fresh fruit & vegetables where ever possible. To prepare the chosen meal and to cook it if necessary. Supervision / Assistance at Meal Times - We can, when necessary, assist with eating, either cutting food up for the service user or actually feeding it to an individual. A Personal Assistant - We will assist / promote service users to wash and dress as necessary, encourage the use of appropriate clothing to suit activity and / or weather conditions. To promote a healthy mouth, clean teeth and / or dentures. Shopping - To assist / support or do the daily / weekly shopping. To transport the service user to their chosen destination if required. To assist to carry / load the vehicle and unload at the other end. To assist to put shopping items away into the appropriate places. Cleaning - To maintain / create a clean and healthy living environment. Complete cleaning service, utilising the service users own equipment and cleaning products. Interior windows and frames cleaned. Exterior doors. Not everyone uses the same products, and we all have our own favourites. Laundry - To wash, dry and iron in the service users own home. Financial Support - We can arrange the necessary paperwork from other organisations to assist the service user to apply for further funding if applicable. Pay bills. To support the service user to collect any finances required from either the bank or post-office, or do it for them. Documented receipts are given for all transactions carried out on the service users behalf. Social Care - We can assist on outings, going to see friends or simply a walk in the park. We can even walk the dog! Appointments - To take the service user on vital appointments, such as the doctors or to the hospital, to transfer from department to department. Garden Tidy - To trim, strim and weed the service users garden, pots or hanging baskets. Patios & Driveways swept / washed. Garden waste will need to be collected by the local authority.
